Daniel Padro got his degree in (Solid state) Physics at the University of the Basque Country in 1997. Between 1998-2001 he worked on his PhD Thesis at the University of Warwick, UK with Prof Ray Dupree on solid state NMR applications at high magnetic fields. Following his PhD, he worked as postdoctoral researcher at the University of Cambridge, UK and in 2002 he moved to Madrid joining the NMR group of the Structural Biology Programme at the Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO). Since September 2006, he is in charge of the NMR and MRI services at CIC BiomaGUNE.
